Just like our Glow Serum, this recipe uses unique carrier oils that have properties more beneficial for your eye area than jojoba. They were chosen for their ability to hydrate, rejuvenate, and are appropriate for all skin types. We’re stepping out of the box with this recipe so you can try something new!
This is recipe is included in our "Fresh Face Beauty" and "Spa in a Jar" projects. You can view the complete essential oil DIY projects by clicking on the links above.
Now, are you ready to get crafty? Let's do this!
Before we begin, let's talk about the carrier oils and why I chose them.
Rosehip Oil -Promotes collagen production, hydrates and plumps skin, helps to even skin tone and fade brown spots, supports scar healing (including stretch marks), and soothes eczema and psoriasis. Rosehip Oil is so gentle it is considered appropriate for all skin types, even acne prone and very sensitive skin. It is incredibly rich in essential fatty acids. Over 70% of the oil is comprised of linoleic and linolenic acid, which improve hydration and skin elasticity. It also contains a significant amount of vitamin C, which is essential for collagen synthesis.
Evening Primrose Oil“soothes and moisturizes the skin, scalp, and hair while enhancing elasticity. Furthermore, it promotes a healthy, clear, rejuvenated complexion with enhanced radiance and addresses roughness, wrinkles, redness, dryness, and irritation. It facilitates the healing process, reduces the appearance of scars, and calms inflammation.” Source
