RECIPE: Shower Melts

Have you even purchased shower melts? You'd think they were made of gold instead of baking soda! No more, my friend. Let me show you how to make them for literally pennies.

Shower steamers are so versatile! Keep them on hand and when you're ready to use them, add essential oils for a specific reason: congestion, relaxation, energizing, etc.

Shower Melts (also called Shower Steamers) is just one of the recipes included in our "Get Well Soon" care package. You can view the complete essential oil DIY project by clicking on the link above and you will find the individual recipes at the bottom of this post.

Now, are you ready to get crafty? Let's do this!

SUPPLIES
"Get Well Soon" Printables
Silicone Mold
8 oz. Mason Jar
1 cup Baking Soda
1/4 cup Distilled Water
6 drops of Essential Oil (per melt)

YIELDS:
12 shower melts

INSTRUCTIONS:
• Combine baking soda and distilled water.
• Press the mixture into a silicone mold and let dry for 24 hours.
• Once dry, pop the discs out of the mold.

BEFORE USING OR GIFTING:
• Add six drops of essential oils to each shower melt.

Place your shower melt in the tub/shower where it will slowly get wet. You don’t want it to dissolve too quickly and disappear down the drain!
